From Hvar to Blue Cave it takes about 1 hour and 15 minutes. This is a crowded and very popular tourist attraction and we will be here from 1 – 2 hours, depending on how crowded entrance to the cave is. Blue cave entering ticket is extra cost and it is not covered with tour price. We will be entering in small wooden boat accompanied by official Blue Cave staff/ personnel.
Blue cave – it’s a natural phenomenon, one of the most beautiful gifts from Mother Nature, one of only a few in the world. Although small, it is truly gorgeous, dazzling and breathtaking, a sight to be seen, no doubt about it!
From Blue Cave to Pritiscina it takes 30 minutes. We will be here 30 minutes, this is a beautiful hidden beach / bay. Here you can swim, relax, snorkel and take photos.
Pritiscina is a small but one of the most beautiful bays. It is located on the south side of the island and recently it is possible to reach it by a very long macadam route from Podhumlje. In the cove, beside several houses, is a beautiful pebble beach overlooking Biševo.
From Pritiscina to stiniva it takes 15 minutes. We will be here 15 minutes (quick stop). According to National Geographic team, this is a most beautiful small beach.
Stiniva beach is located on the island of Vis in southern Croatia. It is a beautiful hidden beach on the southern part of the island. Surrounded by high cliffs, one part of this fantastic pebble beach is always in the shade, so you can also hide from the hot midday sun
From Stiniva to Green Cave it takes 15 minutes. Here we will be 30 minutes. Extra cost for cave entrance ticket.
The Green cave (Croatian: Zelena Špilja) is located on a smaller island of Ravnik near Vis, a part of Vis archipelago. It is bigger than the Blue cave Biševo, and the entrance is at the south-west of Ravnik. Sunlight penetrates through the smallish hole on the ceiling of the cave itself, creating the fascinating green color reflecting from the sea and cave walls. That’s actually where the name came from. Entrance is big enough for the boats to go inside, and swimming is allowed.
From Green Cave to Palmižana it takes 50 minutes. We will be here about 1 hour. Free time for swimming, snorkeling, visiting Laganini day bar, relax time on most popular sandy beach bay.
Today, Palmizana stands as the most popular and the largest bay within the Pakleni islands allowing you to enjoy a combination of natural, unspoilt beaches and beautifully designed restaurants and bars. These beachside hideouts let you enjoy the freshest seafood possible alongside cocktails and wines – a great pick-me-up for when you’re feeling exhausted from travelling. There are endless restaurants and even an art gallery so Palmizana is well-equipped to look after you on your trip out from the main town.
From Palmižana to Mlini it takes 10 minutes. This is a quick stop and we will be for short period of time. Relaxing place for taking photos and enjoy last minutes of Hvar paradise. Mlini is surrounded by very small islands.
Mlini beach is well-loved but only by the few people that know of it – it’s a hidden gem on an otherwise busy Pakleni island. We’ll reach a bay of extremely clear water, a traditional stone-built restaurant and a beautiful pebble coast line shaded by the pine forest that dominates the island.
After visiting all destinations, we will head back to Hvar departure location. Return trip from Mlini to Hvar is 15 minutes long. We hope you enjoy our Vis island tour.
We had the most amazing day exploring Hvar and the surrounding islands. Perfect locations, an amazing lunch at Konoba Mareta. Our skipper Alen was absolutely brilliant and the perfect tour guide. We’ve all had another amazingly memorable day, thanks, it’s been fantastic!! We love Croatia!
All I can say is WOW. We jetted off to the Blue Caves around 8am and got there before the massive crowds. It was a short touristy excursion through the caves but absolutely beautiful and a must-see at least once.
This was a great way to see the incredible Blue caves and pop around some islands for swimming and lunch. Great experience and will never forget. They had a cooler so we could bring a few drinks which makes every adventure better.
We went for a tour of the blue cave and surrounding islands. Our driver was incredibly knowledgable, accommodating, funny, and friendly. He made thoughtful suggestions and Recommendations. He made restaurant reservations for us (the place was delicious!), took us to gorgeous beaches, and helped arrange transfer back to our house. The way he arranged the tour also ensured that we missed most of the crowds at the blue cave, which is a can’t miss experience. I can’t recommend these guys more!
We went for a private boat ride for 2 families as we had lil babies on board. It was a superb experience. We covered the blue caves, green caves and an island. The experience was out of the world. Please don’t miss.
